I think that both (Digital Natives and Digital Immigrants) are important and have reason to support their beliefs and ideas, however in these days technology focusing in the classrooms are necessary, because the world is needing more and more people with the ability to drive and use technology in jobs for example, and new inventions need people that know how to use them, so just by learning through technology we could get that preparation ... also I believe is good to know about everything for example read and look for information in the books, but also read and look for information by internet,if we worried about all this knowledge, we will be able to aspire to get a better opportunity in our professional life, because we are going to be prepared to face all the challenges...
I agree with my classmate Italia, I think that both, the digital natives and the Inmigrant speakers are important, and as time goes by they will still existing, because there is always appearing new technologies that new generations will know perfectly. this topic calls my attention because This is a phenomenon that occurs since the beginning of all the devices, and I had never noticed it until we read that article.
Ana Karen and Italia give clear examples and comments that both Digital Immigrants and Digital Natives are kind of a balance. The first ones are not very good with technology, however, they use and adapt to the new techniques available with the continuous developments and combine those technique with the "old school" ones, and thus, have a better preparation. Nontheless, The Digital Natives can adapt all the knowledge they easily acquire when use thechnology with the techniques and skills of those taught by the Immigrants. Thus, we can conclude that for now, they both need of one another to get the best of both teaching and learning. (I ereased my last comment because it had some writing mistakes :S)
Well, I agree with my classmates! because Digital Natives and Digital Immigrants need work together to make an interactive and dinamic class. So, is good to know about how apply technology in the classroom because like a teachers we can motivate our students and improve their learning. As we know Digital Natives and Digital Immigrants learn by very different ways, but we need to mix them and make a good class! :)
Digital Natives are used to work in the way that they have been working almost always, and Digital Immigrants have acquired other kind of specific activities. I think if we could joing both kind of activities, classes would be better to undestand and there would be no problem in anything. One group have to adap the skills they have but aplly them using technology, and the others maybe can support their techniques with ideas that cannot be used by technology, this would make the life easier !!
All of my classmates have good points of view and I think that Digital Natives need to improve their skills (talking about technology) because nowadays students are more asociated with the Digitl area, children now learn since a very young age and they know even more that their parents, so it is important to have teachers that know how to deal with it and accept that students can learn in different ways not only with what they are used to.
In my opinion, all of my classmates have a clear idea of what is Digital Native and Digital Immigrantes; they gave a really good examples. We as a Digital Immigrates have to learn how to use technology because nowaday it is very helpful for us because we always use it such as in the classroom when a teacher is givig a presentation, or just to look for information on the internet, but there are an infinity of things that you can do with technology but sometimes adults dont want to learn how to use it because they prefer to learn on the old way; looking for information on books, etc. Nowadays children want to learn by a tv program, games, computers and for them it is easier than for us.This is called Digital Natives. I think it is better if we use both of them in order to get better information

I've always been lucky enough to have technology around, almost since birth; from 286 processors to hand-sized computers, I've seen it grow as I've seen my self: I'm a Digital Native. What a poetic! However, when I was a junior student, computers were not available for everyone, so I 'learned the hard way': searching at the library, oral transmission, face to face with teachers, etc, and I have to say I'm not an average student now. The thing is, to me: technology is not a determiner to acquire knowledge, it is a tool that must be well chosen for the right crowd, it can make things easier and faster, but gives any succes waranty by it self.
